"Shadow (feat. Lyrics Born & White Hinterland)"
Bay-area emcee, Lyrics Born, is a living legend. His raw talent and artistry are unparalleled, and his creative output since the early days in 1993 is strunning. From his collaborations with Blackalicious and DJ Shadow to his work as ½ of Latyrx, to his party-anthems "Callin Out" and "I Changed My Mind," you just can't mess with LB. His most recent album, "As U Were," is both classic and futuristic, and features the likes of Trackademics, Francis and The Lights, and Sam Sparro.

White Hinterland is the moniker of Portland-based songstress, Casey Dienel. Her 2010 album, "Kairos," explores the edges of minimal pop, accomplishing a delicate but lively seduction through deep, patient bass throbs, prismatic synth textures, and direct, intimate songs sung with an empowered gravitas. Casey's vocals float effortlessly over the choruses of "Shadow," lending the song an enchanting yet haunting quality.
